Van der Graaf Generator’s last show from their 2022 tour is captured comprehensively on the band’s upcoming four-disc box set. The Bath Forum Concert is out on Esoteric on March 10, and features two CDs, a Blu-ray and a DVD. The show took place at the listed Grade II venue in Somerset on March 1, with the band – Peter Hammill, Hugh Banton and Guy Evans – performing a 12-song set that included classic VdGG tunes such as Man-Erg, Childlike Faith In Childhood’s End and (their encore) House With No Door, along with more recent pieces such as Every Bloody Emperor, Interference Patterns, and Room 1210 from 2016’s Do Not Disturb.
