There’s something very reassuring about hearing Easter out of season and realising time is creeping to the end of yet another year. Tell that, though, to the hundreds of poor souls caught out in the torrent as the patient and seemingly endless sold-out queue of punters – heads down, hoods up – shuffle along to the sanctuary of London’s landmark venue.
