Danish-Swedish prog metallers Vola will release their fourth album, Friend Of A Phantom on November 1 via Mascot. Following 2021’s hugely successful LP, Witness, guitarist-vocalist Asger Mygind says the band were both buoyed and a little pressured to pen the breakthrough album’s follow-up. “I tried to tell myself that there wasn’t pressure, but I think we felt it subconsciously,” he admits. “Of course, the most important thing was that we could satisfy our own desire to create something just as good.
