This autumn sees the release of 50 Years Of Music, the first career-spanning collection from Roxy Music guitarist, Phil Manzanera. Issued by Universal on October 11, the 11-CD box set features all 10 of his solo albums – spanning 1975’s Diamond Head and 2015’s The Sound Of Blue – alongside a bonus disc of rarities from Manzanera’s personal archive. Its arrival comes in the wake of his recent autobiography, Revolución To Roxy. “The box set is sort of like a musical memoir,” he tells Prog. “Obviously, there was Roxy Music, but there was also this other parallel musical world, which I wanted to explore.
