Pilgrim WHITE KNIGHT Pendragon bassist makes progress on his latest solo album. Pendragon bassist Peter Gee’s 2018 release, The Bible, was his first full-blown concept record, and he continues in this ambitious, Christian vein with the follow-up. His father was a Church of England vicar for 30 years who highly regarded John Bunyan’s The Pilgrim’s Progress, and Gee Jr has adapted that book into musical form here. Pilgrim is a solid, lightly proggy work. Gee’s as assured on guitar and keyboards as he is on bass, and he’s joined by vocalists Steve Thorne, Jimmy Flanders, Becky Brannigan and Hayley Oliver, and Jadis’ Steve Christey on drums.
