A restored version of Stop Making Sense, the classic concert film from Talking Heads (right) returns to cinemas this year for its 40th anniversary. A two-LP set of the soundtrack follows on August 18, via Rhino. More at talkingheadsofficial.com. Norwegian jazz prog quintet Krokofant have signed to their country’s expanding label Is It Jazz?, also home to artists such as Soft Ffog, Datadyr, Wizrd and Jacob Holm-Lupo’s Solstein. They’re now working on album six, more at isitjazzrecords.no. Encore, the long-unavailable 1978 reunion album from Brian Auger and Julie Tippetts (née Driscoll), has been remastered and will be out on CD via Esoteric on May 26.
