Twelfth Night formed in 1978 and were mainstays of the early 80s prog revival, alongside Marillion, IQ and others. Since launching their own label in 1980 they’ve released many albums of their own, and more recently by former members and friends. After the instrumental Live At The Target, vocalist Geoff Mann joined for the 1981 Reading Festival. Mann recorded Smiling At Grief (1981) and the classic Fact And Fiction (1982). He left the band following a second appearance at the Reading Festival in 1983 and two unforgettable Marquee gigs, which were released as Live And Let Live. In 1984, with new singer Andy Sears, Twelfth Night signed to Hit And Run Music (who also managed Genesis), and recorded Art And Illusion with noted producer Gil Norton. All these albums have…
