Nearly 20 years later, they’ve evolved in every way, as this tour demonstrates. Alongside support from the superb Cyberiam Duo, the quartet represent most of their LPs (including the recent ID.Entity) with exquisite musicianship and endearing personality, resulting in an almost immaculate concert. Cyberiam vocalist/guitarist Keith Semple and bassist Brian Kovacs play a 40-minute opening set comprising stripped-down essentials. The standout is easily an abridged version of their epic suite, The Butterfly Effect, yet several other tracks are reinvented in satisfying ways.
