Where’s home? Sunny Wigan in Greater Manchester! What’s your earliest memory of prog? My oldest brother was in university by the time I landed on the planet, and I remember he was very immersed in all kinds of music, including ELO, Fairport and Kate Bush. The first prog album you bought? Sigur Rós – Með Suð Í Eyrum Við Spilum Endalaust. I remember being at a ferry port in Dublin one night on the way home after some gigs, and Fljotavik poured out of the car radio. I was captivated. The next day I ran to my local HMV to collect all that was on offer of theirs. And the most recent? Mammal Hands’ Gift From The Trees, and Ubiquity by Haunt The Woods. Your first prog gig?
