Ante el alza al papel, precio único al libro: Siglo XXI Editores

GUADALAJARA, Jal.- La Comisión de Cultura y Cinematografía de la Cámara de Diputados aprobó una minuta para reformar la Ley de Fomento para la Lectura y el Libro, que ampliaría de 18 a 36 meses el precio único de éste. En caso de ser votada a favor, habría una competencia pareja, considera uno de los impulsores, el gerente general de Siglo XXI Editores, José María Castro Mussot. Si los legisladores votan por la ampliación a tres años en este mes que inicia, sin importar el tamaño de la librería ni su ubicación, el libro tendría el mismo precio. “Eso permitiría que puedan competir las librerías más pequeñitas, sin problema con las grandes --dice--.
