Neil Ridgewell & Tim Sims Made In Italy Motorcycles Magic happens in the workshop of Made In Italy Motorcycles. Most customers might not see beyond the showrooms, packed with delights from Italy – and a smattering of other nations – from the 1950s to the present century. It’s a temple for the Italophile. Indeed, although we have visited to feature the workshop, it’s a good 20 minutes or so before we can tear ourselves away from the serried ranks of Ducatis, Laverdas, Bimotas, MVs, and more lined up in the Stowmarket emporium. However, the workshop is where manager Neil Ridgewell and mechanic Tim Sims breathe new life into great Italian machinery; restoring, repairing, and renovating everything from modest 175s to ultra-desirable and stratospherically-valued Ducati 750 Super Sports.
