Eternal Strands boasts big bosses and terrific tactility

Coming from new studio Yellow Brick Games, formed by former Bioware and Ubisoft veterans, this Unreal-Engine-5-powered action game is certainly going big. You play as Brynn, who’s a Weaver, a kind of magical warrior able to bend the world to their whims (think telekinetically hurling both objects and yourself into the air, or freezing the air to create bridges to aid in exploration). Mastery of this world is all about using physics tricks to gain an advantage. And you’ll need them, as exploring the dormant nation of Enclave will prove dangerous. The ruins are full of creatures out to pull at your threads, and extreme weather events wreak havoc on the environment (though a skilled Weaver can use them for their own ends).
