Get pushy in Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure

We’ve all seen top-down RPGs before, so you might wonder what’s new about Arranger. Well, to begin with, its developers are calling the game a ‘Role-Puzzling Adventure’, after the unique fusion of genres that defines it. While the RPG genre has always featured puzzles about pushing blocks around to some extent, we’ve never seen them forming as integral a part of the game world as they do here. Lead character Jemma’s entire world is mapped to a grid that’s easy to see, and as she moves so does everything in the same row or column, items shifting about the static screen and even looping around when they get to the edges.
