More old banger than absolute banger

This is like Control, only the weirdness is out in the world instead of inside the FBC. Also, instead of a gun and supernatural powers you have a vehicle that needs constant attention. Okay, it’s not that much like Control, apart from the atmosphere. It is, ironically, more like a temperamental old car that demands a little too much patience. The premise is that, in an alternate recent past (and as something of a Chernobyl allegory), the development of an amazing new power source leads to a terrible accident, a government coverup, and a large exclusion zone.
