Ravel, Prokofiev, Saidaminova ALPHA Il a beau être discret chez nous, Behzod Abduraimov n’en vient pas moins de donner un récital triomphal à New York, au Carnegie Hall. Son précédent et admirable disque associait Chopin, Debussy et Moussorgski. Voici que le nouveau, splendidement enregistré, propose Roméo et Juliette de Prokofiev, Gaspard de la nuit et The Walls of Ancient Bukhara de la compositrice Dilorom Saidaminova qui aurait pu les composer il y a quatre-vingts ans, ce qui n’est pas une critique. La maîtrise pianistique d’Abduraimov est au service de la musique. Son Gaspard est concentré, fluide, tragique, démoniaque. Il donne l’impression de descendre dans les tréfonds du piano tout comme il peut être léger comme un feu follet. Prokofiev et Saidaminova s’imposent…
