Wi-Fi 7 is reaching a tipping point. If you want to get ahead of the curve, though, we have previously tested three alternatives to the Nighthawk RS300 that could suit your needs. The first is Netgear’s upmarket Nighthawk RS700S: this promises twice the speed of the RS300 on all three radio bands, with the 6GHz network claiming an ultra-fast peak of 11.5Gbits/sec. That’s accomplished with 4x4 MIMO, so (as our graphs indicate) an individual laptop or tablet with a 2x2 network card won’t see much advantage over the RS300, but it will make a difference when two…
