On the other, it’s incredibly powerful, with a desktop-class M4 processor that’s in a different league from anything else you’ll find in this month’s Labs. It’s a device that could genuinely work as a laptop replacement, if furnished with the right accessories, or provide a lightweight alternative for professional work while you’re out on the road. Apple has aced the physical design. The aluminium shell and glass front feels seamless, while it’s well balanced in the hand and easy to hold.
