SCORE PRICE £225 (£270 inc VAT) from Vodafone or BT/EE Sometimes companies make a statement when sending us review samples, and here that meant shipping the G75 in a compact Peli case – a relative of the one Jon Honeyball eulogises on p130. The message is that the G75 is a rugged beast, being the first Moto G series phone to meet MIL-STD-810H tests, including drops from up to 1.2 metres and extreme temperatures. Add an IP68 rating and Gorilla Glass 5, and I’m left wondering what to do with the Peli case. There’s another first here, as the G75 marks the debut of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip.
