SCORE PRICE As reviewed, £1,500 (£1,800 inc VAT) from hp.com HP has an enviable track record of creating innovative and fine-looking gaming PCs. The HP Omen 45L (see issue 333, p50) with its dedicated “Cryo Chamber” is a case in point. The Omen 35L’s chassis is ten litres smaller, as its name indicates, and uses more conventional cooling methods, but it lives up to expectations for design. Let’s start with the noise, or lack of it, in general use. While you can usually hear the fans inside gaming PCs, the Omen 35L stays almost silent even when it’s put under pressure.
