A member of Epson’s ScanWay club, it can function as a standalone network device for walk-up scanning, while support for Epson’s Open Platform (EOP) means it can be easily integrated into Epson’s scanner management tools and products developed by third-party independent software vendors (ISVs). EOP allows ISVs to customise the scanner so it fits in seamlessly with their software solution. Epson works with a range of ISVs, including DocuSoft, which can embed its document and data management software in the scanner’s web GUI and customise the icons on the touchscreen.
