The competent C410 is a return to form from Xerox but falls short of the award-winners’ podium

PRICE £343 (£412 inc VAT) from printerbase.co.uk We’ve reviewed a couple of disappointing small office printers from Xerox in recent years, a stark contrast with its previous track record of excellence. We were anxious to see if the C410 would represent a return to form. It’s a single-function colour laser aimed at busy small offices or workgroups. While it’s a larger than rivals this month, it should squeeze into most home and micro offices. This printer is rated at 40ppm in black or colour, with a 1,200dpi maximum resolution. It’s equipped with automatic double-sided printing and a gigabit Ethernet port, but no wireless network interface in the “DN” specification tested here.
