Epson WorkForce WF-2960DWF

This cheap multifunction peripheral has its moments, but despite the low price it’s not great value overall

PRICE £67 (£80 inc VAT) from printerland.co.uk At first glance, Epson’s Workforce WF-2960DWF looks like great value. It’s an inkjet multifunction peripheral offering prints, scans, copies and fax, and all for £80. It’s well specified, too, with a colour touchscreen, automatic duplex printing and a 30-sheet ADF to help make light work of multi-page scans, copies and faxes. It supports both wired and wireless networks, too. So it seems there’s not much to count against it. The WF-2960DWF is fairly rapid for the price, managing to produce our 25-page text test at 14ppm. With the print quality lowered to draft, it even hit an impressive 18.8ppm.
