An easily deployed Wi-Fi 7 AP with top cloud management, but its performance doesn’t justify the price

SCORE PRICE £270 exc VAT from broadbandbuyer.com Netgear moved into the business Wi-Fi 7 space last year with its WBE750 access point (AP), which offers a mighty BE18400 rating. Its £563 price tag won’t endear it to SMBs, though, with the WBE710 offering a more affordable option. As you’d expect, compromises have been made: the 10GbE port in the WBE750 is downgraded to a 2.5GbE multi-gigabit port and it has a much lower BE9400 rating. On the plus side, the WBE710 supports the ultrawide Wi-Fi 7 320MHz channels and MLO, which allows compliant end-user devices to simultaneously connect to multiple bands on the AP for increased throughput and reduced latency.
