Lenovo Legion Go S

This 8in Windows 11 gaming handheld feels great in the hand, but it’s too sluggish and expensive to recommend

SCORE PRICE 16GB/1TB, £500 (£600 inc VAT) from lenovo.com The Legion Go S is a more compact sibling to Lenovo’s original Legion Go handheld gaming PC (see issue 352, p56) – although with its 8in display it’s still larger than rival handhelds such as the Asus ROG Ally and Steam Deck OLED. It also features an updated chassis and introduces AMD’s new Ryzen Z2 Go processor. I’m a big fan of the new design. I found the original Legion Go too bulky to hold comfortably for more than ten minutes, but that’s not at all the case with the Legion Go S – it’s both smaller and more ergonomically styled, with rounded grippy corners.
