There are several signs that it’s been built with budget in mind, but none of the sacrifices prevent it from being a classy machine for workers who schlep their laptop from home to office to clients. As with all ThinkPads, it will make a sober, business-like impression on all those who see it. The trademark black finish and red TrackPoint are in evidence, including a glowing red dot that forms part of the logo on the lid, and its tank-like build quality is only softened by its compact dimensions.
