SCORE PRICE £416 (£499 inc VAT) from geekom.co.uk When I spoke to Geekom at CES, the A6 proved to be the hot topic. While the A8 (see issue 363, p85) is popular thanks to its incredibly small footprint and 0.47-litre volume, not to mention its stylish aluminium alloy frame, many potential Geekom customers wanted a cheaper option. Something closer in price to the £535 Minisforum Venus UM790 Pro (see issue 363, p91), which won our recent mini PCs Labs. The A6, then, is Geekom’s answer. With a selling price of £499 (I’ll ignore the £599 list price), it’s £220 cheaper than the A8 despite using the exact same chassis.
