Commemorative Jubilee plate

Use whitework techniques to create your own memory of this Jubilee year.

You will need Your basic tool kit plus: • White ink plus a pen with a fine nib • Faber-Castell blendable pencil:• Manganese Violet (160)• Fine grid, either diagonal or straight• Fine 1-Needle tool• Bold 4-Needle tool• 23 clear adhesive gems• Circle of Dark mauve card (14.5cm diameter)• Circle of Light mauve or silver card (15.5cm diameter)• Scrap of dark mauve card for the stand• Invisible thread and fine needle To prepare Rub the back of the parchment with a tumble-dryer sheet to aid the embossing before attaching over the pattern. Trace With white pencil, trace everything shown in red. Use white ink to trace everything else.
