IPSC Rifle World Shoot 2024

Terry Calivitis was selected to represent South Africa at the Sweden Rifle World Shoot 2019 and again for the 2024 IPSC Rifle World Shoot, Level V, Oulu in Finland. Prior to each match, Terry was diagnosed with a brain tumour and was unable to participate in either due to the seriousness of the subsequent operation and his lengthy recuperation. SAPSA reports that Terry has struggled tremendously with the second recovery but is slowing getting there. We would like to recognise Terry’s achievement in having been selected for the national squad twice for the Rifle World Shoots, even though he was unable to participate in either. On Target Africa extends its best wishes to Terry’s family during this difficult time and our hopes for his full and speedy recovery.…
