Well, I write this at the end of May and life has certainly been hectic with so much going on in the preservation world. The major rally season as such kicked off at the beginning of May with soft ground conditions, but the events got through with good crowds. The following weekend I was at the HCVS London to Brighton Run, held in glorious weather, even though the M25 Junction 9 was closed the event battled through well. Our two major articles this month are based on vehicles that were award winners on the run, Bob Moorman’s 1927 Foden C-type and Toby Jennings award-winning 1919 Thornycroft J-type.
