S&KWSEG GET GOING AT PADDOCK WOOD

Alan C Cullen says the first outdoor event for The Sussex and Kent Weald Stationary Engine Group, now in its 25 year, took place on Saturday 15 February. The day began with a bright red sky, but a very chilly wind, which warmed up to the heady heights of 3 degrees above freezing. But this did not deter the dozen engine men who had booked in for this display at The British Garden Centre at Paddock Wood, Kent and the space we are allocated soon became alive with the sight and sound of engines running. I myself took along my recently acquired Wolseley WD2 with a Victorian paint mill.
