For years, there’s been speculation about whether or not Dwayne would ever run for president of the United States. Now a source tells OK! the star is “absolutely serious” about throwing his hat in the ring if he’s got enough public support behind him. “By Dwayne’s own admission, he doesn’t know anything about politics, but he’s a quick learner and he’s willing to take a course in political science and study,” dishes the source. (In 2018, the actor told The Late Show host Stephen Colbert he would need to “get some experience and understand policy” before launching an official campaign.)
