The star bunked with Eddie Redmayne when they were both struggling actors in L.A. “At the time…we were pretty messy,” Jamie recalled of living with one of his “best mates,” adding, “we had a lot of fun then.”
GETTING PHYSICAL
While his Fifty Shades costar Dakota Johnson downed shots of whiskey to prep for their steamy sex scenes, Jamie did pushups. (He only had four weeks to whip himself into shape for the role after Charlie Hunnam dropped out!)
RAISING THE BAR
Jamie worked at London’s Tattersalls Tavern for six months before embarking on his showbiz career. He returned to the pub for the first time last fall, noting it has “a great pint, particularly when not pouring it yourself.”
