PANTHERS 36, WARRIORS 4 LUAI LEADS YOUNG PANTHER BOILOVER FIELDING the youngest, most inexperienced line-up of any team in the opening 17 rounds, Penrith mesmerised the Warriors in a display brimming with class and confidence. The Panthers were missing Origin reps James Maloney, Nathan Cleary and Tyrone Peachey, while another four players were absent through injury. Coach Anthony Griffin chose a squad with an average age of 23 and combined first grade experience of 985 games. The Warriors, by contrast, averaged 26 years and had played 1,893 top grade games.
