RABBITOHS 18, TITANS 16 HIPGRAVE’S DOUBLE TROUBLE PROVES COSTLY KEEGAN Hipgrave was sin-binned twice as the Rabbitohs snuck home with an unconvincing victory at Cbus Super Stadium. For the second week running Souths won without their four Origin players but unlike their well-executed victory over the Sharks in Round 13, these two competition points proved much harder to earn. If not for the double sin-binning of Hipgrave, both times following a succession of penalties conceded, Souths may not have emerged on top – but both times they capitalised with a try. In the first half it took Cody Walker less than 60 seconds to find the line after Hipgrave departed, lifting Souths to a 10-4 lead, while Alex Johnston crossed within minutes of Hipgrave’s second dismissal to extend the margin to eight.
