COWBOYS 26, SEA EAGLES 12 THURSTON EXHIBITION HELPS COWBOYS STOP THE ROT JOHNATHAN Thurston took advantage of an ‘empty stage’ to turn on a solo exhibition against the Sea Eagles, steering the Cowboys to a much-needed win at Lottoland. After retiring from the representative arena in 2017, Thurston was available to call the shots while team-mates Michael Morgan, Coen Hess and Gavin Cooper and Manly pair Jake and Tom Trbojevic were preparing for State of Origin I.
