Brilliant Broncos claim title without compare

BRISBANE claimed the inaugural NRLW title by defeating the Roosters 34-12 in an historic grand final at ANZ Stadium. It was a well-deserved victory for the Broncos, who finished the three-week regular season as undefeated minor premiers, while the Roosters were fortunate to sneak into the decider after winning just one of their regular season match-ups. The Roosters opened the scoring through an early penalty goal to halfback Zehara Temara, but it didn’t take long for the Broncos to assert themselves.
