Foran loss a big blow for Pay’s pups

BULLDOGS fans have had some tough breaks in recent years: The departure of long-term players, coaching and board upheaval and three years in the finals wilderness. But few incidents have rocked the club as much as the shoulder injury suffered by Kieran Foran representing New Zealand against Great Britain in November. The 29-year-old had begun to recapture his old form late in the season as the Bulldogs made a welcome charge up the rankings after looking certain to be lumbered with the wooden spoon for the first half of the year.
