Tedesco storms home to claim top honour

WITH eight rounds of the regular season to play, Sydney Roosters fullback James Tedesco sat well back in the field in the race to take out the season’s Dally M title. At that time the title appeared to be a race in four, with Parramatta’s Mitch Moses holding a narrow lead over Storm pair Cameron Munster and Cameron Smith, with North Queensland’s Jason Taumalolo sitting further back. On 20 points, Moses was six clear of Tedesco and a solid chance of taking out his first major individual honour. But over the final eight rounds of the season, as the Roosters went on a run of seven straight wins, Tedesco went along for the ride.
