Warriors make Sharks pay penalty

CRONULLA experienced a frustrating 80 minutes at Wigan’s DW Stadium when their dream of capping their premiership with the title of world champions disappeared in an array of penalties, errors and disputed decisions. It was the Sharks’ first visit to the United Kingdom since the ill-fated Super League World Challenge of 1997, but any suggestion that a victory would be as easy to come by for an Australian team as they were that year were soon dispelled.
