TIGERS 34, PANTHERS 26 ‘TEDDY’ DEMANDS BLUES CALL UP WESTS Tigers fullback James Tedesco demanded selection for New South Wales in the third State of Origin game after starring in an impressive win over the Panthers at ANZ Stadium, while a series of defensive lapses may have cost Panthers second-rower Bryce Cartwright his spot. The Tigers scored three tries in eight minutes to lead 22-14 after they trailed 14-2 midway through the opening period. The rush of points gave them the impetus to build on their lead in the second half.
