Early promise undone by troubles

I F only the Eels could have bottled the mood that pervaded the dressing room on the opening night of the season, harnessed the intensity they displayed that night against the Sea Eagles and reproduced that form on a regular basis. What a different outcome it would have been for a club who have now gone six consecutive seasons without reaching the playoffs.
