WHEN league Immortal Bob Fulton was appointed Manly’s strategic consultant in April the club was, by Sea Eagles’ standards, at rock bottom. They sat last on the ladder after starting the season with five losses from their first six games. Their two best players, halves Kieran Foran and Daly Cherry-Evans, had signed elsewhere and coach Geoff Toovey was fighting for his future.
