ROOSTERS 38, BULLDOGS 12 Chooks win the battle of the big men ACONTROVERSIAL decision to award Sydney Roosters forward Kane Evans a try early in the second half proved a major turning point in the semi-final against Canterbury. The Roosters held a shaky 8-4 lead against a club that was hardwired to fight against the odds and bolstered by vast experience in biggame conditions. Trent Robinson’s men might have exuded confidence and looked more likely to finish on top, however a four-point lead offered no security whatsoever.
