Round 5 April 3, 4, 5 & 6 RABBITOHS 18, BULLDOGS 17 MEMORABLE CLASH TAINTED BY AFTERMATH THE grand final rematch between South Sydney and Canterbury ended in drama at ANZ Stadium as Bulldogs players vented their fury at match officials and angry supporters hurled bottles onto the field. As match officials were escorted from the field, one slipped and broke his shoulder while another also fell under a hail of plastic missiles. The disturbing scenes followed a controversial end to an encounter that featured an eight-point try, the sinbinning of Bulldogs prop David Klemmer and a serious knee injury to Rabbitohs halfback Adam Reynolds. Souths hooker Issac Luke was awarded an eight-point try after Bulldogs centre Josh Morris led with his foot and struck Luke in the head while scoring a try before half-time.…
