PRE-MATCH forecasts that a giant NRL All Stars pack would steamroll a ‘weak’ forward division were shredded in 80 minutes by Laurie Daley’s committed Indigenous All Stars outfit. Despite the absence of internationals Greg Bird, Andrew Fifita, Tom Learoyd-Lahrs and Sam Thaiday, the Indigenous pack matched the NRL All Stars blowfor-blow and proved that when put to the test, motivation can mean more than muscle.
