PREMIERS North Queensland managed only two places in our 2015 Team of the Year. Only halfback Johnathan Thurston and second-rower Gavin Cooper forced their way into the 13 we determined was the pick of the season, based on form throughout regular competition, finals and representative arenas. But that is not to say the Cowboys did not have a host of contenders. Leaving out prop Matt Scott, for instance, is hard to justify and not being able to find a position for five-eighth Michael Morgan just doesn’t seem right.
