ALAN FEARNLEY

alan.fearnley@hotmail.com www.alanfearnleystudio.com ALAN FEArNLEy was born in 1942 and became a full-time freelance artist in 1974 after spending several years as a studio illustrator. Since then he has exhibited with the Transport Trust, the royal Society of Marine Artists and the royal Institute of Oil Painters. He has also been a member of the Guild of Aviation Artists (he has won the BAC Trophy and the Qantas Trophy for aviation art) and the chairman of the Guild of railway Artists. Three books of his paintings have been published over the years: The railway Paintings of Alan Fearnley in 1987, The Classic Car Paintings of Alan Fearnley in 2001 and, in 2008, The Automobile Art of Alan Fearnley published by Porter Press International.
