CAN THINGS GET any better than they are now, and I mean right now, as we head into into the autumn season? Okay, perhaps I’m being a bit Pollyanna-ish here, but petrol is still available, plentiful and dare I say affordable, and fun cars can be had in every price range from cheap to, pardon my newly coined term, the Trumptacular. The market for old and classic cars is still strong, and, when you think about it, the automotive Beige Epoch is well behind us, perhaps never to return. With that in mind, let us review some of the auctions held in the days before the events on the Monterey peninsula.
