THE LATEST in Coterie’s Image Collection series follows familiar ground. It is in essence a photo album of Ferraris on track, in which all the images were taken by Catt and have never been published before. And the subject matter is captivating, not least because most of the images are in colour. What’s more, there are several privateer entries mixed in with the works cars – it was a pleasure to see a shot of David Prophet’s silver 250LM in the 1967 BOAC International 500 at Brands. Extended captions accompany the photos, most of which are genuinely informative; that said, there are a number of other books like this, with better repro and more imaginative design.…
