You can imagine how disappointed I was not to see my designs featured in the section on XJ-S conversions, as they were considered ‘ahead of Jaguar’ when my first design appeared in 1989 [pictured above]. To cap it all, your ‘road trip’ was to Monaco – and my conversion was called the ‘Monaco’! I had been making lots of interesting cars…
